Nexus Vehicle Rental, the UK's leading corporate vehicle rental provider, has been shortlisted in the 2016 Amazon Growing Business Awards in recognition of its growth and innovation.
Now in their eighteenth year, the Amazon Growing Business Awards is the UK's most established and respected awards programme to recognise SME and entrepreneurial success.
Nexus is shortlisted in the B2B Business of The Year category, which recognises exceptional market leading, high growth, and innovative B2B businesses that have significant potential to continue to scale.
The private-equity backed business has been selected as a finalist due to its consistently high year-on-year growth, unrivalled supply chain, innovative software development, commitment to career progression, and world class account management, all of which make it the market leader in corporate rental.
Nexus is able to source the widest range of vehicles in the rental sector, with all booking and management delivered in real-time through its unique and award-winning online system, enabling customers to access a network of 500,000 vehicles via 2,000 locations in just ten seconds.
Previous award winners include Innocent Drinks, Betfair, Lovefilm and Fever-Tree, while VIP guests to have graced the ceremony include Bill Gates, Gordon Brown and Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
David Brennan, CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental said: "To be named as a finalist in such a highly competitive and coveted national awards programme underlines that we are not only a business that can demonstrate a consistent growth record but one that has real potential for growth in the future.
"Despite not owning any vehicles, we have access to the largest network in the UK and are the only company that can source any vehicle, anytime, anywhere. We will continue to innovate in order to bring the highest standards of technology to the industry and to ensure we remain the market leading name in vehicle rental."
Nexus underwent a shareholder buyout in 2015 when private equity firm Bowmark Capital bought out previous investor Livingbridge, for £51m. Bowmark specialises in UK growth companies valued up to £150m, backing experienced management teams to build world-class businesses.
