John Ellis, Operations Director
After graduating top of his class in economics from Manchester University John took up his first role at Nexus in 2000 and has grown with our business over the course of the past 5 years. John has successfully played an instrumental role in the success of the company from Financial Controller through to Operational Strategy, and has become a crucial member of the Nexus management team.
John has been instrumental in managing many high-profile accounts and customers, whilst simultaneously overseeing operational strategy of the business. Recently, he has flawlessly implemented the introduction of Nexus' brand new operating system IRIS into the day-to-day running of the company and clients, following 2 years of hard work in helping to bring this project to fruition. John's knowledge of suppliers and systems within the vehicle rental market in the UK is immense.
Outside of the office, John is a very keen footballer with representative honours up to County level during his schoolboy days, followed by a spell on the books of professional side, Bradford City. Although age has taken its toll on the athletic figure of the past, John remains a popular figure on the local amateur scene. With a recent marriage to long-term fiance Vikki, the likelihood of 2.4 children beckons in the near future.
